Give to the Max Day 2025

Every November, Minnesotans come together for Give to the Max Day — a day that celebrates generosity, community spirit, and the incredible work of local nonprofits. This year, on November 20, 2025, we invite you to join Restart, Inc. in making a difference in the lives of adults living with brain injury and related disabilities.

At Restart, Inc., our mission is simple but powerful: to teach the skills that help adults with brain injury live as independently as possible. Since 1986, we’ve worked alongside individuals in the Twin Cities community to help them rebuild confidence, rediscover purpose, and reclaim their sense of dignity. A brain injury can happen to anyone — it cuts across all economic, ethnic, age, and gender groups. The effects can be life-altering, impacting memory, behavior, communication, and daily living. But with the right support, recovery and reintegration are possible. That’s where Restart comes in.

Through our skill-building programs, leisure activities, and community-based supports, clients gain:

  • Confidence to interact with others and advocate for themselves
  • Access to meaningful activities that promote social connection and joy
  • Independence through personalized teaching and goal-setting
  • Opportunity to participate fully in the community with dignity and respect

Each success story at Restart is made possible by donors like you. Your Give to the Max Day gift helps fund the programs and services that build independence — from daily living skills to community engagement opportunities.

When you donate to Restart, you’re not just giving money. You’re giving hope, opportunity, and a pathway to independence for adults whose lives have been changed by brain injury.
This Give to the Max Day, let’s come together to ensure every person has the chance to live a happy, healthy, and productive life.

Join us on November 20 and give to Restart, Inc. — because everyone deserves the right to dignity, purpose, and independence.
